Advertising in the MCIA DirectoryDo you need a cost effective way to reach potential customers? Advertise in the MCIA Directory and you can reach seed buyers, producers, conditioners, wholesalers, retailers and a variety of ag-related businesses. Not only will your ad be printed in the directory, it will be included in the online version on our website. We produce and distribute 1,600 copies of the MCIA Directory. We think you will find this to be an inexpensive opportunity to get your name in front of a large audience. If you are not familiar with our publication we would be happy to send you a copy of last year’s edition. The approximately 70 page directory has sections dedicated to Certified Seed, Quality Assured Seed, Approved Facility Programs, Native Seed Certification, Noxious Weed Seed Free Forage and Mulch, Quality Assured Sod and Organic Certification Services. While we cannot guarantee placement of your advertisement in a specific section, it is often possible to strategically locate ads to better reach your target audience. Just let us know! The deadline for ad copy is August 19, 2011. After that date, please call before submitting an advertisement. Ad copy may be submitted in a variety of forms, or you may request that we design a basic advertisement for you (this service is free up to one hour, $25/hour for additional time). Many file types are acceptable, but we prefer PDF, EPS, TIF, or any Adobe file type (Illustrator, InDesign, PageMaker, and Photoshop). A limited amount of space is available for color ads for the inside front and back covers only. We look forward to seeing your business highlighted in our 2012 Directory! The Directory is published every September. Please submit your advertising materials (including payment) no later than August 19.
Preferred electronic formats include PDF, TIF, or EPS files. Other formats may be acceptable; please call 1-800-510-6242 to inquire about other formats. We can scan a business card or other printed material for your ad for a $25/hour rate, however the quality of the scans will vary significantly. It is highly recommended that you submit a native file (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) if you have one available as this will produce the highest quality reproduction. We want to ensure that your advertisement is printed as accurately and cleanly as possible. Therefore, you must proof and sign off on your advertisement before we will print it. A copy will be sent to you for review after we receive your advertising materials. back to top |
