Field Inspectors

Seasonal (part-time) Field Inspector Positions Available.

The Minnesota Crop Improvement Association (MCIA) is seeking applicants to fill field inspector positions. These positions are classified as “seasonal” and are part-time. Position requirements are described in the Field Inspector or Field Inspector – Corn job announcements. Field inspections are performed at specified stages of crop maturity in the summer and fall. MCIA offers flexible working hours depending on the applicant's schedule. The availability of field inspection positions varies throughout Minnesota -- most available positions are located in the major agricultural crop production areas of the state.

Field Supervisor

The Minnesota Crop Improvement Association (MCIA) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Field Supervisor. The supervisor will conduct field inspections for certified and non-certified acres of crops, inspect seed conditioning facilities, and manage inspection crew in his or her assigned territory. In addition, the selected candidate will perform audits of various MCIA audit based services. This is a home office based position located in Southern Minnesota, preferably in the vicinity of Mankato/Blue Earth County. Applicants from other areas are encouraged to apply.
