Identity Preserved Grain CertificationQUICK LINKS
Introduction Identity Preserved (IP) is the term used when maintaining a product’s specific traits or characteristics from the point of production to its end use. MCIA provides services to producers, processors and marketers of identity preserved products to help them develop and implement effective identity-preserved systems.
What if you don’t have an IP system set up yet? Not a problem. The MCIA staff is available to consult and help you identify points in the system that are critical to reaching your production objectives. We can help develop protocols to be followed to preserve the traits you are trying to market from the seed used to the final market. Why select MCIA as your IP partner? MCIA has over 100 years of experience in providing product certification and system traceability services to the seed and grain industry. MCIA is a member of the Association of Official Seed Certifying Agencies (AOSCA). AOSCA has developed specific standards for handling IP grain that form the basis of MCIA’s IP services. AOSCA’s IP logo is also internationally recognized and is available for use on MCIA certified IP products. Why not give us a call and put our years of experience to work for you? We can help you set up a customized quality IP system, audit your current system, or provide certification of your products.
