Special instructions - application for field inspection of RR varieties

This program is used for all fields which involve seed of the Roundup Ready® gene. This seed can be field inspected only or it can be inspected to the QA standards and labeled with a QA label.

APPLICATION MUST BE MADE WITHIN THREE WEEKS OF DATE PLANTED.

Please read through the General Instructions for the basic information. The following is additional information specific to the Roundup Ready® program.


QA PROGRAM

Fields from which the produced seed may be labeled with the QA label.

1. F = Foundation R = Registered C = Certified QA = Quality Assurance RR = Roundup Ready IP = Identity Preserved
2. If previous crop same as crop grown this year, note variety and seed class of previous crop.
3. Identity of seed planted (See instructions for Completing Applications for Field Inspections).

The seed class to be produced are as follows:

  • QARR - Two field inspections per field (post-spray & pre-harvest)
  • QARR3 - Three field inspections per field
  • If more than three inspections are being requested, indicate QARR and the number of inspections needed.

Identity of the seed produced is mandatory for this program. A tag, lot number or invoice is acceptable. The produced seed is only eligible for the QA label if this information is provided.
