DESCRIPTION:The ROCORI FFA along with the ROCORI FFA Alumni and Supporters is holding a Plot Day/Community Day at the ROCORI ball fields on 7/17 to introduce the community to Kernza that was planted in a partnership with the ROCORI school ag program.\n\nThere will be local speakers from the community and soil and water conservation programs\, along with business and U of M teams to highlight why we planted the Kernza plot and all the benefits that the new emerging crop has on the environment and ground water in the area. There will be food utilizing the Kernza flour along with many hands on activities from kids to adults throughout the event running from 9:30-1 with door prizes throughout the event. All ages welcome to learn more about Kernza and the plot that the school and the FFA are working on along with a fun and interactive agricultural community day.
